This book was written by a doctor in 1840 with reprints in the 1850s.

The publishers were American News and T. W. Strong.

If your book is dated 1884 it is a much later reprint. I could not find any books with this date on abe.

The earlier books were price from $40 to $60. If your book is in excellent condition (fine) it might bring that much.
