I was with my family on a holiday trip to the Santa Fe area. My normal mode is to visit several used book stores wherever I am, so I hit some bookstores in the area and didn't really find much to purchase.

While my wife headed to shop in a ladies clothing store, I went to the local Borders. To my surprise there among 10 or so 7th editions of Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins was a 1st edition!

I found a first printing that had been on the shelf for over a year.

It was a true fluke but I would have never known to look without your Book Collecting Newsletter.
