Published by P.F. Collier & Son, September 1903. Hardback. Printing/binding error. At page 286, pages 333-340 of Sir Nigel (another Doyle book) text inserted. Pages 289-296 of Adventures of Gerard omitted, then page 297 (last page of Gerard), followed by pages 341-346 of Sir Nigel. The same edition (at archive.org) from the Harvard library does not have the error. Haven't found references to this error online.
