The cover is in bad condition, which extends around to the spine; the title on the cover, however, is in good condition and the gold leaf of the title and on the edges of the pages is in very good condition. The rest is in very good condition. No moldy odor or marked-up pages. There is one inscription in the book, to the owner,which I believe is the original owner. It is dated to him as a gift for his 13th wedding anniversary in November 1903. Very pretty, petite book, thick volume. Cover is forest green leather. I've owned it since 1985ish.
