PEN Faulkner Award for Fiction
The PEN Faulkner Award for Fiction was founded in 1980. It is named for the international writer's organization, PEN, and William Faulkner. It is a literature award. Publishers submit books published the previous year. Authors must be American citizens. The award is presented at a ceremony held each March in Washington at the Folger Shakespeare Library.
