I volunteer to read books to see if they would be an encouragement or uplifting for families who are in difficult situations. I just read "Modern Day Parables" and was so touched by its content and message I felt I had to comment on it. The author took me inside Billy and I actually felt a part of him (even though I am an almost 80-year-old female). As I read further, I realized the character was not only real to me but had great lessons to teach to others. It's exciting to me to get to pass this book on to a troubled family. I feel Luke Arthur has a great future as an author and am amazed at his talent at such a young age. Keep it up, young man, and keep it real (as you have done in this book). God bless you and be with you in your efforts.
