I don't know if it's the publishing as this info is not in the book.
Inside it says The complete poetical works of john milton with life of the author and Dr Channing's essay on the poetical genius of milton. There is no publishing date anywhere on the book, but it was published in london by milner and Company, limited, Paternoster row.

The book is not in mint condition and has some lose pages. At the end of the book there is a section at the back advertising The New, novelist's library. for Complete standard works of the late charles dickens, price 1/6 each
