Book collectors, both beginning and advanced, will find information they can use. Not a collector? You're a book reader or a book seller? There will be a lot for you as well. Here are just a few of the many benefits you'll be seeing: Our Book Rating System We'll be expanding this and making this more useful in the coming weeks.In the past three years, our system has helped us buy these books early when they were inexpensive: The Help by Kathryn Stockett The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi Sweeping Up Glass by Carolyn Hall Netherlands by Joseph O'Neill The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski You'll see several collectible titles appear on our list every month. Books are added several times a month. The ratings are calculated "in the clouds" in a Google spreadsheet. Collectible Book PostsWhenever we see a highly rated book we will usually write and post a blog giving you detailed information ... we'll cover the author and her/his background and look at previous books she/he has written.Book SellingA few of you may already be online sellers or even have a store. I haven't begun selling yet. But I plan to begin in November or December. I'm currently researching the details of selling and will be presenting them in a number of posts beginning in October. Some of these first posts will include book reviews.Book ReviewsI'll have book reviews on book collecting and selling. And then I will attempt reviews of fiction I have read.Book Award InformationWe'll keep up with the latest awards and be looking to see which of our highly rated awards are tapped for the shortlists.
