Book Collecting Tips To Help You Find Tomorrow's Valuable, Collectible Books

Have you ever considered book collecting?

As avid collectors, we'd like to offer you some insights and information based on our many years of collecting.

Our mission here is to try and acquaint you with potentially valuable books from promising new authors. In other words: tomorrow's collectible books.

What you'll find on our site are:

  • The 10 most important book collecting tips
  • First edition books we've collected in 2008
  • Book awards for literature, mystery, science fiction and fantasy
  • A calendar of awards
  • Where to buy books
  • Selected collectible authors and their books
  • Why collect books?
  • ... and why collect hypermodern books?
  • The books we collect and show on our site are not only collectible but also highly readable and are often award winners. This is a good place to discover new authors.

Monthly we list a first edition book we think is especially promising for our Collectible Book of the Month:

January 2009 Collectible Book of The Month

    A Beautiful Place To Die

Malla Nunn's debut book is set in South Africa in the 1950s. The book comes out in early January. The first printing was 75,000 copies. Due to the number of books in the first edition, I will be looking for a signed copy when Ms. Nunn begins touring the book stores.

Come back often to check out our selections!
