Friends of the Library Bookshop, Midland, Texas

This is a totally volunteer run bookstore that benefits a local County Library with its profits. The shop is only open a couple of days a week and all the books are donated items but it is a fun place to hunt for that elusive first edition.
In past years, I have found an early Agatha Christie first edition in jacket, a first edition On The Wings of Eagles with 12 signatures, a signed North Dallas Forty, and many other "finds". The cost? The most I have ever paid for any of these books is $5.
The volunteers are helpful and show their love of books by their dedicated hard work and faithfulness that benefits the local library financially.
It is a great place, full of fun people and treasures to be discovered!
