Foxe's Book of Martyrs

by John
(Carroll, IA)

This book I bought at the Good News Book Store here in my hometown of Carroll,Iowa Jan.2008 This book was written by JOHN FOXE b.1516-d.1587,a English marytrologist who helped mould British public opinion about the Catholic Church for several centuries.

My copy has martyrs all the way to the early 21th Century, even though the book tells about martyrs from the first Century A.D. to the 16th Century originally.
