John Creasey Memorial Award
The John Creasey Memorial Award is presented each year by the Crime Writer's Association of Great Britain. Previously unpublished authors of crime novels writing in the English language are eligible for the award.
The award is named after mystery writer John Creasey (1908-1973). (The award is also called the CWA New Blood Dagger.)
The English author published hundreds of novels under many different pseudonyms. He won an Edgar Award in 1962 for Gideon's Fire.
