Christmas Stories by Charles Dickens

by Don M.
(Long Island, NY, USA)

Christmas Stories from
Household Words and All The Year Round

by Charles Dickens

It is in superb condition. No visible wear or tears. Only one original owner in 1887 and then acquired by me in the 1970's.

It is an 1887 edition, published in NY by Pollard and Moss, 47 John Street.

It has a dark green hard cover, embossed with gold leaf(?) with a reddish brown inlay on the cover and spine. Also, an embossed picture of (I would guess) Charles Dickens on the spine. The book measures approx 5.5" x 7.75", and about 1&3/8" thick.

It includes five stories in the following order:
A Christmas Carol
The Chimes
The Cricket on the Hearth
The Battle of Life
The Haunted Man

Total # of pages are 409.

I would like to know its value and if anyone would care to purchase it.

Thank you for your help.

Don M.
