Here is the report that will explain the book collecting system. And it also explains what information is needed to put in the forms for the data base.

Entering Information for New Books Into The Data Base

Here is the form for entering new books into the data base:

Once the data is entered click on the submit button and then formulas will be updated and the ratings will then show up ... go to the last link below to see the ratings.

Important - only for adding new books - for the first time ...

Making Additions and Corrections To Existing Book Data

The next form is for additions and corrections to the data base.

This is to add information like the publisher, starred reviews, awards ... any item that was not already entered when the book title and author name was entered.

Instructions for this form are contained in the report.

The next form is for entering prices for rated books. These will come from Advanced Book Exchange (ABE). The prices for signed and unsigned books will be entered. And also the supply of books ... the number of signed and unsigned books available for sale on ABE.

This next link will take you to the data base where you can see what has been entered already.

The most critical information you can enter are:

- The number of the book (author's first, second, etc.}

- The number of printings

- The starred reviews and Amazon Book of the Month

- Award nominations and awards won
