  • A calendar of awards
  • Where to buy books
  • Selected collectible authors and their books

The Sweetness At The Bottom of The Pie

Alan Bradley's debut mystery has already won an award! The Debut Dagger Award for unpublished books. The UK version came out in January and has a red dust jacket. The US version came out April 28th. Book collectors should note that signed copies will be available at only three locations in June (the author lives in Italy so signed copies may be difficult to obtain after his visit).

Mr. Bradley will be at Murder By the Book in Houston on June 1st and then at Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale, Arizona on June 3rd. 75,000 US copies in the first printing. The US book does not have a dust jacket.

    Some comments from our visitors:

    Guys,

Absolutely brilliant web site, I love it!

Friendly, informative - just what a relative novice like me needs right now.

I've just began selling books online for the charity Oxfam here in the UK so I'm grateful for the advice on collecting because I'm trying to list books that will appeal to booklovers/collectors.

    Keep up the good work,

    Chris

I just retired and started book collecting. I'm so very pleased with your site and appreciate the information you provide.

.. I hope you are able to reach more new collectors like myself. You have taken much of the mystery out of the process, at least for me and I'm sure others. Keep up the good work!!

    Peter

I am so happy I found your site ... I was completely lost and didn't know what to look for (I have an interest in first/firsts).

Thanks, thanks, thanks for your hard work ....

    Andy
